We offer a full range of food safety training the majority of which is bespoke in house training and Crossland Associates is a registered examiner with CIEH, RIPH and RSPH examining centres.

Please note that the titles of the food safety courses offered by these examining bodies have changed in accordance with the recommendations of the Skills Sector Council and the Qualifications an Curriculum Authority QCA

Manual Handling

This qualification introduces candidates to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

This qualification will enable owners, managers and supervisors to meet the requirements of current legislation by putting in place a workable system of hazard analysis,

Stress Awareness

This qualification raises awareness of the likely sources of work-related stress. It is aimed at general workers and also serves as an introduction to the issue for more senior staff.

This qualification will enable employees to contribute to strategies which combat work-related stress.

Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (Previously Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace)

This is essential to businesses to demonstrate compliance with current legislation.

Level 2 Award in Health and Social Care

This new CIEH qualification is designed as an introduction to hygiene and ensures that vulnerable people are not exposed to unnecessary risks. It will help everyone, including those in the private and voluntary healthcare sectors, to play their part in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in Health and Social Care

CIEH Intermediate Certificate in Supervising Health and Safety

CIEH Certificate in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice (General)

Employers and the self employed have a legal duty to assess health and safety risks. Anyone carrying out a risk assessment needs to have the necessary knowledge and skills.

This qualification ensures that supervisors and managers have the necessary depth of understanding to enable them to carry out risk assessments.

CIEH Advanced Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace

Key personnel in organisations need the skills and knowledge to manage health and safety. Simply being aware of and understanding the issues is not enough. This qualification is designed for those working in any business, regardless of their product or service range.

It is essential for all those who have a role that includes responsibility for the management of health and safety issues, including managers, supervisors and senior safety personnel.
